Sustainability can be defined as, “the quality of not being harmful to the environment or depleting natural resources, and thereby supporting long-term ecological balance.”
Habit – a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously.
Sustainable habits are habits that minimize environmental degradation.
Sustainable habits to protect the earth:
Reduce your electricity use.
Conserve water.
Recycle as a family.
Skip single-use items; reuse instead.
Drive less.
Go meatless one day a week.
Small changes; big impact.
How do you help the earth with such small actions?
- You are not alone. If we all practice these habits we can save the earth and the animals that are dying because of pollution and plastic waste.
- By just recycling our materials, we create a healthier planet for ourselves and future generations. Recycling prevents pollution. These habits are the most you can do. You are destroying and putting the world in danger by every single waste material you choose to throw in the nature.
- YOU CAN DO IT.
How do we affect the earth?
- The atmosphere and ocean are warming.
- Ice sheets and summer sea ice are shrinking.
- Sea level is rising.
Heat waves are more frequent and intense
Please be human. We need to save ourselves and the animals that are dying. The sustainable habits are making a change. You are not doing this for nothing.
